Star Count was an international event that occured every year in October. Anyone in the world was invited to observe the night sky and share their observations through the website. Although the last star count occured in 2015, information can still be found on the website. A global map of the stars from Earth can be edited using all observations. You can also view the results from previous years.

What do you do?

Participating in the Great World Wide Star Count is no longer possible. However, the results of this international event can still be viewed online.
